At Little Lorikeet Early Learning, our educational program — The Little Lorikeet Learning Journey - supports children from infancy to school age through a carefully designed pathway of belonging, discovery and growth.
Our program is thoughtfully designed to nurture confident, capable, and curious learners. Guided by contemparory early childhood research and early childhood learning frameworks(EYLF). We create learning environments where children feel valued, supported, and empowered to explore their world. We believe early childhood is a time of wonder,creativity, and relationship-building, and our program reflects a strong commitment to children’s wellbeing, agency, and lifelong love of learning.
Our learning pathways evolve alongside children’s developmental stages. For infants aged 0–2 years, the focus is on nurturing secure attachments, trust, and sensory discovery. Individual routines are respected, and educators provide language-rich interactions, opportunities for movement, and emotionally responsive care that supports early communication and exploration. For toddlers aged 2–3 years, growing independence and confidence are encouraged through social interactions, curiosity-based experiences, creative exploration, and the development of self-help skills. Children aged 3–5 years engage in deeper inquiry learning, collaborative projects, STEM exploration, and leadership opportunities that support school readiness while maintaining the joy and creativity of early childhood.
